Who We Are
David Pierce is the owner of Able Business Claims. David qualified as an Associate Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. David has over 30 years’ experience working in Accounting and Banking including time with PwC, Chemical Bank (now part of JP Morgan) and Citibank. In 2015 David completed study with the Australia and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and passed the Business Interruption Loss Adjusting Exam. This qualification sets our business apart from accounting offices, providing the necessary expertise to interpret policies thoroughly.
David’s Business Interruption experience covers a wide range of businesses, claims sizes and disruption events. He has worked with motels, restaurants, manufacturers and service providers. David believes that when businesses experience a significant interruption due to fire, flood or other disaster they have a right to a fair settlement. Receiving the full amount you are entitled to can be the difference between surviving and not surviving. This is David’s driving motivation - to save businesses.

David has a BSc with Honors in Economics and Accounting.
David focuses on the analysis of business growth and expected growth to ensure that a business receives a fair settlement based on this detailed analysis.

Trained as lending officer with credit authority of up to US$2,500,000. Extensive experience with forensic cashflow modelling and forecasting.

Penny Bailey - Assistant Claims Preparer
Penny has a BA and Dip in Business Admin and is currently studying with ANZIIF.
Penny assists David in the preparation and presentation of Business Interruption and Material Damage claims.
